New amenities at Chek Jawa Wetlands, Pulau Ubin have been opened to the public from Sunday, 8 July 2007, which will allow visitors to conduct their own DIY tour of Chek Jawa every day of the week. The amenities, including a visitor centre with viewing jetty, over 1 km of boardwalk (Mangrove and Coastal Loops), and the 21-metre Jejawi Tower, are part of a long-term sustainable visitor management plan to protect the rich biodiversity there.

Just come back from dinner at a new Indian restaurant opened by a friend. The restaurant will be officially opened on 11-Jul, and he invited us to a food tasting session just now. The food is simply marvelous and very delicious. The name of the restaurant is “Jade of India”, located on the ground floor of SOHO@Farrer at 172 Race Course Road.

All the chefs are hired from 5-stars restaurant from India. Though I’ve not seen the menu yet, we were told that the price is about a third of other restaurant that serve food of similar quality. Good deal, isn’t it?

Would definitely love to visit the restaurant again. Anyone interested?
